Values-in-Action (VIA) Project with Punggol Green Primary School (2024)

AUGUST 2024:
IN-CLASS VIA TRAINING WORKSHOP FOR P3 & P4 PREFECTS

We had the privilege of conducting a VIA training with the Punggol Green Primary School students, introducing them to the lives of migrant workers and providing them with tools for meaningful conversations over a 1.5 hour in-class workshop

SEPTEMBER 2024:
VIA ENGAGEMENT WITH MIGRANT WORKERS

After the training, the students put their learning into action with a wonderful VIA project! It was a time of games and interaction tapping on to the STEM skills of the students to engage the workers. 26 students connected with 10 injured migrant workers, sharing stories, laughter and empathy.

The highlight for the workers wasn't just the activities; it was the genuine connections formed through conversations, reminders of their own family and children, and the shared experiences

A big shout out to MoCA and Pek Kio CC for making this event possible by providing the venue.

We really enjoyed the games and interaction with the students at Pek Kio CC. Actually, as long as there are children involved, we are all very happy because they remind us of our own children back home.
