Through this partnership with Bloomberg's Corporate Philanthropy APAC, staff participated in a series of volunteer engagements, gaining valuable firsthand experience with our work at Migrant & Me. This initiative not only provided essential support for our mission but also fostered a deeper understanding of the challenges and opportunities faced by migrant communities.

BLOOMBERG'S KIT CAMPAIGN (MAY-JUNE 2023):

Building on the volunteer spirit, Bloomberg's Philanthropy team launched a donation drive, collecting essential items for migrant workers. In June, their dedicated corporate volunteers came together to pack a whopping 1,000 care packages! These packages were then delivered through the SG Accident Help Centre, reaching migrant workers at the center, dormitories, and even those on construction upgrades.

BRING YOUR KIDS TO WORK DAY (JUNE 2023):

As part of Bloomberg's "Bring Your Kids to Work Day" on June 23rd, 2023, Migrant & Me had the opportunity to engage with 40 children across two workshops! We designed fun and interactive sessions to introduce them to the lives and contributions of migrant workers in Singapore. This event allowed the children to explore the world of work alongside their parents, while gaining a deeper understanding of the migrant community.
